Why do I get the suspicion the last girl is going to say something snarky?

WAIT! I recognize her! Wasn't she in the arc where Ronnie was working at the fast food place and she ordered the "healthy" salad?

When it comes to evil, beware the short ones. I'm thinking my off-hand comment about snags earlier might have been a bit more prophetic than I had intended.

Geez, who spit in their bean curd? Seriously, do those girls have some sort of grudge against Diana for some reason, or are they being jerks just to be jerks? And I share the same worry as laughingbanana (welcome to the forums, by the way! I'm saying this a bit late, but oh well) and kanna172003; I get the feeling that the third girl might turn around and say something mean as well. Then again, maybe she's genuine and I'm just being overly suspicious.

Yep, she's Maltese! Her name's Mei.
Technically, her Mom's Maltese and her Dad's a Shih Tzu, but her appearances take more after her mother.

A snark fight over clothes? I'm kinda curious, how many people have actually witnessed this sort of thing or participated in one? 'Cause I never have. That might just be the fault of attending uniform-requiring schools (...until college, anyway), or perhaps reclusiveness and lack of observation on my part, but clothing is such a petty thing to attack someone over, so petty that I have a hard time believing many people would bother. It's also pretty boldly aggressive behavior, going for a direct confrontation.

I'm not trying to call Diana petty, by the way, just to clarify. Those three gals started it, Diana ignored it at first, and when they persisted, she made a comeback grounded in evidence found through observation. I mean, it's a comeback about unoriginal clothing selections, but still.
