Actually, I suspect that's Hunter (note the line across his nose denoting fur color change) and the female behind him is an as-yet unnamed character (note the lion's tail). This is, of course, seen through David-vision. Very Happy

Page 220, Panel 6: I draw panels separately, and out of order-the images are then scanned in and photo shopped into a complete pencil rough of the comic. Sometimes multiple panels will share a page, thus causing a giant flying shoe to hover outside Hunter's house.

Seriously, Hunter: your family pays taxes to keep the Department of Labor alive. Use their resources to sniff out hiring employers. Seek out the personnel managers who are looking for useful applicants, and tell them the Three Golden Disciplines: "I'll show up, man my post and do my job." These "job fair" slave traders rarely offer anything concrete.

Oh, Mister Ed? This is the Furry Experience universe, where predation of citizens is unlawful under any circumstances. Perhaps you were thinking of Bill Holbrook's Kevin And Kell universe, where predation for personal gain is murder, but predation for sustenance is A-okay.

Now, did Hunter find this job at the fair? Or on his own? Or did Cat hear about it from Dawn and tell Hunter about it? Did he accidentally bump into Dawn and hear it directly from her without Cat knowing? Did Brian hear about it from Dawn and tell his good buddy, Hunter, about it? Did Hunter just step into the place for a moment, ask to use the bathroom and get shanghaied by the boss? Is Cat going to become jealous of a mouse? Will Hunter dance in his shorts at the office party? OUT of his shorts?? Is Hunter's current job listed openly on his resume? And what will the boss think? Will the boss spill the beans to everyone? Will Mousetta be shocked and protest? Will Mousetta become interested? In Hunter? Is Cat going to become jealous of a mouse?? Will I run out of scenarios? SOON???? cat

You may get your wish, Yevon. Pirate seems to be the only non-sales job left among the newspaper listings. Doubly fun if the place not only has a pirate theme, but a Ladies Night with something like Chippendale dancers. Presto, Hunter's back into the "modeling" thing again.
