I've generally found that explaining yourself out of a misunderstanding without digging yourself really deep is to be brutally blunt and honest with absolutely not sugar coating anything or avoiding any particular points. Sure the other party may be a bit put out by the lack of finesse. However it will go over FAR better than a miscommunication and later they may even begin to respect your ability to be open with them.

Ha! That would be funny! :-) But, it looks -to me- like you drew his hoof and then changed your mind about its position on the doorframe and drew it again slightly repositioned.

Having observed all that Brian does, entertaining children at a hospital, that was something my mother suggested I try as a kid. I was in South Africa for a few years, where I visited a few daycares for children, plus facilities for disabled adults. Reading to them became a favourite hobby, especially furry-material books to both sides. Brian's got a very successful future career as a father, considering he's great with kids.

My first thought was that he is appealing to Dawn for something, but then I saw that his hoof-paw is palm-down, not palm-up. He's not trying to appeal to her; He's tentatively reaching out to her. I wanna know what they're saying!
