Re: Sneak Peaks
Looks like Hunter needed someone he could open up to. Now, is he talking about jobs, reasons for changing jobs or the lovely and talented Cat?

I say all three!

Those are some high prices up there. Then again, if it is a movie theater then I can see it actually charging that much.

Re: Sneak Peaks
Agreed, Wolfpack. Popcorn made at home produces a large mixing bowl of the stuff for about one dollar. Movie theaters really fleece the suckers at the concession stand. Come to mention "concession stand," could the Artist be giving a subtle shout-out to Concession by Immelmann?

That does look like a movie theater concession stand to me too, WolfPack. (NC State alumni? :-))WolfPack wrote:Those are some high prices up there. Then again, if it is a movie theater then I can see it actually charging that much.
Although I suppose it could also be at an amusement park or sporting venue, I'm still guessing movie theater.

If your asking if I went to NC State, no I have not.

And let's add some happy trees to this picture. We're gonna use our fan brush now, we'll make the stem, and make branches all the way down, getting bigger as you go more downwards.

Yay Bob! :-) Actually, to get your toes wet at oil painting and as a beginner's confidence booster Bob's classes are not bad. They aren't long enough to actually teach you anything about doing art, but, depending on the teacher and classmates, they can be fun and you bring home a finished piece. (Yeah; Mom bought me one of these 4-hour(?) classes once.) :-)Slim Shadow wrote:And let's add some happy trees to this picture. Looks like Luke is going to leave Hunter with something to think about. I can't imagine selling popcorn paying any better than what Hunter's doing now, but it might be steadier. I also doubt it'd have more 'interesting' possibilities for a future than modeling.
Re: Sneak Peaks
Little brother will presume it's another guise for undercover work. Mother, of course, will be happy that Hunter has found an entry-level job. From there, he can build a work history. One does not leap onto a ladder; one starts at the bottom and climbs progressively. The uniform is a nice touch.
So, welcome, Hunter, to the world of Punch Clock Heroes.

re;sneak peeks
"Punch Clock Hero" LOL Why am I hearing "Juke Box Hero" in the background? Actually, the concession job would mesh well with the modelling job as most movie concessions are night/weekend jobs, which would allow for the modelling gig in the day. Makes for a long day, but Hunter is young enough to handle it. Would make a great "cover" story for little brother. Plot complications ensue. vis/a/vis Cat---might make thing a little easier. BTW The pirate waiter job makes me think of a certain "free credit check.com" commercial I am sure you know the one I mean.. THE COLONEL

But on the left coast, PCH is interpreted as "Pacific Coast Highway". Usually Ca 1/ us101, but not always. THE COLONEL

Re: Sneak Peaks
I think I had more Han Solo's "I'm not in it for your revolution; I expect to be paid" than Wile E Coyote's "I'm not paid enough" in mind.
Some heroes have to be goaded into action, otherwise they would simply grab some popcorn and watch the villain go nuts.
Modeling and concessionaire? Wouldn't work. The modeling gig already eats into Hunter's online coursework. Adding another obligation would effectively torpedo his degree. Nope, eight hours on the job, eight hours sleep, five hours for study / coursework, three hours for eating-playing-goldbricking. Leave the modeling to bishonen from wealthy homes where Daddy pays the tuition.

So is this where we become very glad that Cat doesn't have a brother?
