How much you wanna bet that Brian forgot his wallet and Dawn ends up paying for their lunch? NOT a good way to cement a relationship.

Seeing as he's a regular at the hospital I'd be willing to bet that either 1) they'll let him get by on the honor system, 2) he's got a tab there and/or 3) there's someone there who'd cover for him.

Of the three, the last is decidedly the worst since it says 'I mooch from everybody' though none of the three are really a good situation. Let's hope he has that wallet.

On a different note, I'm rather glad my parents were never the 'must automatically hate potential boy/girlfriends' type.

As a volunteer at a Hospital, lunch probably is gratis. Many organizations, like houses of healing, often support their volunteers like that.

The real problem won't be how he gets his food. His real problem is just going to be being honest.

But who's to say they are eating in the hospital cafeteria? For all we know, they could have gone out somewhere.
