New thread for comic detours. The image might be a little fuzzy being hosted from the forums, but at least it won't disappear when it's taken off the site.

By the way, this happened when I ordered a sandwich once. But I was too embarrassed to explain that I didn't actually want meatballs on my sandwich, I was just acknowledging they existed. ^^;

Heh. Any time I go to a place like that, the conversation usually goes: "What toppings would you like?" "Everything." "Everything?" "Yes. Everything. ... Yes, even those. And those. Yes, that too. Thank you."

Avocado cheese? I've had avocado, I've had cheese, I've thoroughly liked both, but I do not believe I've ever had avocado cheese.

When I haven't finished a page by 2 am the night it's due, that's about when I decide it's time for a comic delay notice. But the page will be up later tonight!

I'll bet the shorter individual is a bee-tard from the 2can forums. No idea who that other individual might be...

Yes! My disguise worked!
I mean...*cough*

The Tucan is a character I actually created in Jr. High, inspired by a plush toy my best friend gave me. Back then, a group of us gal pals pitched in our money to buy a web server and domain name to host all our webcomics on, calling ourselves the 'S.O.P.E. Girls.' (Super Obnoxiously Perfect Eudons. Don't ask.) One year, my friend and I decided to pull a prank on the website, covering all the images with "graffiti" via Photoshop. (This was back when Photoshop was still new.) To accomplish this, we created a top-secret organization of which the Tucan (also known as 'Tuki') was the leader. Now, many years later, it appears this secret organization has reunited, but still has some scheduling issues to work out.

You know... I've never really been a big fan of bunny characters. Something about them just never worked with me. And then there was Ronnie. I've never had issue with Ronnie. In fact, she's my favorite of the FE characters. And then you do this to her. And really I can only say one thing. MOAR!!!! Do want! Shocked

OH MY GOSH I RECOGNIZE THAT OUTFIT! You've got Ronnie dressed as Raven from the Teen Titans! Awesome! I love that cartoon! An interesting choice, too, having Ronnie dress up as that particular character. Those two have some marked similarities but also their differences. Both have a penchant for sarcasm and snark, but Raven is far more withdrawn, while Ronnie, as far as I can tell, is the more outgoing--at the very least, more social--of the two and also the more temperamental. Although when I think about it, both characters can have short tempers... I think Ronnie's more expressive with it, though, more likely to really fly off the handle, whereas Raven keeps it more subdued and reined-in, partially because her powers are so intricately linked with her self-control and inner focus.

Hmm... yanno... we've got a week now to guess who's going to be dressed up as what...

Assuming that we're not getting group shots, who do you think will be next and what character will they be dressed up as?

I'm going to guess that Dawn will be next. She seems a bit straight-laced to do cosplay, but that's by no means set in stone. But who to dress her as... That's kind of a tough one.

I was about to say "Barbra Gordon/Batgirl" but then I realized that "Batman" would be a little odd in a furry world. Not to mention the personalities are completely off.

So... Raquel Casull from Scrapped Princess. Personalities definitely match and in a fantasy world, I'd totally picture Dawn as a spellcaster.

Of course if it isn't Dawn up next, I'll guess Cat. She'd probably want to be Sailor Moon. Barring that, I'd want to see her do Bubbles from Powerpuff Girls.

It was a good series, but I gave up on the fandom. It seemed that 99.9% of the fanfics involved them in getting married, unwillingly, due to it being an arranged marriage.

That's interesting, though I'll admit not completely unexpected-arranged marriages are present in the series itself. Not to mention every character in the series seems to have a crush on someone else - regardless of age, gender, or personality differences. It's like a bizarre dating game *laugh*
