The candy fairy: A euphemism for parents who 'filter' their children's candy (either throwing out the undesirables or taking some for themselves).

Cat is quite the contradiction of a character. She's normally the gentlest and kindest of the group, but as soon as you're in a situation where most people would be focusing on positive memories/thoughts she suddenly goes the opposite. It does make her a lot of fun to watch though.

LOL - I just realized that purple hat in the first panel looks a lot like the Hogwarts "Sorting Hat."

I'm surprised noone has made wild guesses regarding this fiendish Candy Fairy. I'm going to guess it has something to do with 'mysteriously disappearing' treats at night after Cat has fallen asleep.
