Anthro Anime, Anyone?
The last story arc featured some puns and jokes about anthro-ized anime, which I hope everyone enjoyed. Several times while writing the arc, I wondered to myself, "Well...what would an anthro version of this show be like?" Soon I began rewriting some titles, twisting the characters and darkening the plots until the originals were mere shadows compared to these dramatic, action-packed creations. It was a nice break from trying to write comedy all the time.
Now I'm beginning to wonder, how interested would people be in reading complete episodes of anthro anime Cat, Ronnie and Dawn watch on the weekend? (Technically for readers, it would be anthro manga, since it isn't animated...) Keep in mind, these stories aren't based on gag-a-day strips like FE is. They'd be a full, twenty page chapters available for purchase every few months or so. The first titles would most likely be Sailor Usagi and Transfurmors, since I've spent the most time rewriting those. (Strangely, Transfurmors is turning out to be the least like its' anime inspiration than any of the other titles...)
So, does the anthro manga sound like a good idea or no? Would it be something you'd be interested in purchasing, or would you rather spend your dough on the original series?

I think I might need a little taster, but yeah, this sounds interesting!

I'm sure if you made those and put 'em up somewhere, someone would be happy to buy it.
I wouldn't. But only because I'm dead broke.
Idea makes me think of what Jay Naylor does, but, without the porn.. >.>

I wouldn't be willing to buy them, but maybe if I read enough on the internet that they hooked me I would.

That's sounds lovely to buy for a good chuckle.

Re: Anthro Anime, Anyone?
Unfortunately, I don't like spending money on something unless I know what I'm getting into and feel like I'm actually coming out with something. For example, I'd likely buy FE as a printed book. Especially if it were signed. And most *definitely* if it contained 'extras' like commentary or behind-the-scenes.
So, to fit my 'will buy' criteria, it would likely have to be a printed edition or incredibly cheep for a digital copy and I'd have to at least have enough available to me so I know what I'm getting into (first couple pages, for example). 'Extras' are always a good way to get my interest as well.

Re: Anthro Anime, Anyone?
It's true, money is the big kicker for most of us. Even those like me who can scrounge up the money eventually have no way to pay via the internet. So yeah, I would totally do it, if it weren't for the cost.
Anthro manga by NMK
Anthro manga, something along the lines of Albedo Anthropomorphics, or Radio Comics Genus series, I'm guessing.
Sorry, dear, no interest here. Furry Experience works for me because it's an original idea, using anthros as veiled surrogates of your own adventures. Going into something like "Trans-fur-mors" or the like means copy-catting another work, adding animal heads almost as a parody. There's no way around it: pale imitations and derivatives are just that. I'd stick with FE, your original brainchild. Cat, Dawn and Ronnie, and Vicki, et alii are your creations, and they play by your rules, and they don't have to be constricted to fit a pre-existing mold. Originality counts substantially ... just look at what Disney did with a mouse.
