Re: What games are you playing?
Yeah Viola's Dmg is scary if you can master the use of the bow. (Right after getting her head shots were 10k dmg)Stitches1974 wrote:EddieFox wrote:Yeah really good game Great story to.Stitches1974 wrote:Working on Eternal Sonata now. Great game. It's an action / adventure RPG and not just a button mashing game. I would rate it an 8/10.
Whats your team? Mine was Polka, Allegretto, Viola
Im currently playing WoW >.<
Currently about to fight Count Waltz. My team is Salsa ( fave char ), Retto, and Polka ( Viola is good, but her heals aren't that strong, but excellent damage ).
I agree. Love the game and the story line, as well as the life history of Chopin.

Think I am getting around 29k or so head shots with her. I love Salsa as she can rack up echos in a hurry. If March had more health, I would use her instead of Retto. March and Salsa can do some scarey damage as they both double hit.

Count Waltz down. Used Viola, Salsa, and Retto. Viola's head shots and items for the win.
Can't wait until next week when Tales of Graces F comes out. I love the Tales series

I'm showing my age here, but ... whoop-dee-do.
DOOM Collector's Edition, usually in Fast mode.
Battle Tanks II by John Judnich, freeware.
Dream Quest Euchre, 28-card deck. Farmer hands are misdeals.
Sudoku / Kakuro / Battleships online at the Seattle Post Intelligencer.
Cribbage with the wife, and the daughter if she swings by.
I'll have to brush up on tiddly-winks for when they put me in a retirement home.

I so agree with that. That is one of my favorite games. We are trying to teach our oldest one how to play.

Been ages since I played it , but I love the fire elemental weapons. If you don't kill them off the bat, they burn to death.

Re: What games are you playing?
Just beat Eternal Sonata today. Very good ending, longest and best I have seen in any game. Also, in the closing credits, it states the piano used in making the game is a Steinway D-274 ( a $150,000.00 piano ) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steinway_D-274
They really went all out in making this game. If you have never played this game, I highly recommend it. It's on the 360 and the PS3, but the PS3 version has a lot of extras. Either way, it does not matter the system, but the game, music, and story line are top notch.
EDIT: Time for Encore Mode now

Finally got Tales of Graces F today ( putting Eternal Sonata Encore Mode on hold for now ). Will update later when I actually have played it.

Re: What games are you playing?
Tales of Graces F: Damn good game so far. I am still on the starting arc when the chars are still children. I like how this game was made. You get to learn the background of the chars as kids and not just given the chars with no history. The story line is great and so much to do so far. The game is not linear, per say, but you are given some minor exploration so far. Hope the exploration widens as the story progresses as they become adults.
If you have played any of the previous Tales series, you know what to expect. It is very similar to Tales of Vesperia.

Re: What games are you playing?
Eternal Sonata took me about 60 hours from start to finish and that includes watching the cut scenes. It's not the longest game, but it's longer than most.

So I guess it was really an Eternal Sonata then?

Re: What games are you playing?
Yeah, and you have to play through it twice to get all the items. Tales of graces, I am looking about 3-4 play throughs to get all the trophiesGldnClaw wrote:So I guess it was really an Eternal Sonata then?

Over 30 hours in Tales of Graces F and the guide says I'm only about 1/3 way through the game. So, about 90 hrs or so for the main game and about 10 hours of play after you beat the game for a total of 100 or so hours. I have not grinded any, but I am doing the side quests etc for the trophies. The Carta Card game has to be one of the toughest challenges I have ever seen in a video game. You have to beat each level for a new title and a costume. There are 3 stages to complete and I have only been able to finish 2.

Re: What games are you playing?
Damn 30 minute boss fights:
At the 60 hour mark. Damn this game is fun! That boss fight was on EASY BTW. There are easy>normal>moderate>hard>evil>chaos difficulty levels. For a majority of the game I have been playing on moderate. Cant wait to see what the hardest setting is like when I unlock it.

Re: What games are you playing?
At about 75 hours played and just now having to start to grind for money. I still have about another 10 hours to go. I can easily put this game at the 80-90 hours range doing all the side quests. Once I finish the future arc and the final dungeon I will post a total time played ( minus grinding )

I'm really digging the new Silent Hill game so far. It's a very open feel to it.

Re: What games are you playing?
I've become addicted to building Magic TCG decks. Now I've built so many my husband and I are holding a mini tournament (over several days when we have spare time) to see which deck is strongest.
Re: What games are you playing?
My total time played for Tales of Graces F is 86 hours and 30 min. That's doing 90+ % of all the side quests, main game, and future arc. The only thing I have left is the 10 floor secret dungeon and a 26 floor 1 char vs. hordes of enemies death match arena. The game has a great story, 6 difficulty setting ( 2 have to be unlocked ), 7 playable chars. You get to buy and make weapons, armor, and food. The voice acting is pretty good and by completing side quests etc in the game, you can earn grade. Grade lets you buy things when you start a new game +. Like keeping all your titles, 1/2 of the cash carried over from the last game, exp and sp boosts ( items and armor do not get carried over ).
