Might be moving.... Conclusion

Well after a lot of strife and giving up many of my most valued worldly possessions, questioning my risk taking decisions I came to a startling realization.

I have awesome credit and the money I set aside for moving/getting a flat is more then enough to buy a nice house.. so I got pre-approved, went house hunting and as of a few days ago I've got almost everything done to set buying a home in motion.

Closing date is march 5th. <3

I wanted to give you guys who were curious as to my well being some conclusion. :3

Ingenious purchase strategy. Find a home with mortgage payments roughly equal to your current monthly rent, and auto-deduct from a checking account, ideally fed by direct paycheck deposit. Fixed rate, of course; that variable rate has bitten many others hard. My compliments on putting your ducks in a row, BG. Happy homeowning.

Actually my mortgage payments are almost half average rent, and My company doesnt like direct deposit, so I have to cash it all in person.

Still, buying a home is pretty awesome ^^ Congrats

I might suggest that if you spend a little more now paying the house off, then you won't have to pay so much more over the course of the loan. Your choice though.

Grats on the home! I just went through the home buying process a few months back, so if you need any pointers I would be glad to offer some advice.
