Oh, my. Can Cat really be that socially awkward? At this point, the only boss that she might be comfortable with would be a cigar-chomping, humorless bear. Essentially, Perry White with ulcer pangs. I know that some people work well under stress, but Cat? I really hope Ellen-Natalie isn't painting her character into an irretrievable corner.

From what I can tell, Cat's anxiety manifests the strongest when the rules of interaction are ambiguous and/or she has social reasons for not wanting to screw up. For example, she seems to handle her teachers just fine. Her roll in that interaction is well defined (subordinate/student). She had some difficulty dealing with Hunter when they first talked. Her roll was still well defined (artist to subject) but she'd never been put in front of a nekkid guy before. However, when he attempted to interact on a more personal level with her, she panicked. When he removed the well defined relationship of 'artist/subject' she didn't know how to handle it, not to mention she's obviously got something of a crush on him.

Page 212, Panel 4: Hunter is attacked by a tiny masked fur in a cape.

2 guesses...Hunters Kid or Kid Brother.

I'm going with 'Kid Brother'. Hunter's lacking the personality type to have a kid that old and at the same time be (attempting) to take Cat out on a date.

My guess is a knee-jerk reaction to "Suddenly kid! Out of freaking nowhere!"
