I was just looking at Brian's jacket and I realized that I would totally wear it. Maybe I should find myself a sewing machine and get back into making things like that.

Yes, I'm a guy and can handle a sewing machine quite well.

Poor Dawn, lol. She just can't get a break, can she? They must live in a pretty big city to have so many choices.

Aww man, it's east to forget how much food places there are in Provo. BYU Idaho will be nice and all, but Rexburg is severly lacking in restaraunts compared to Provo.
Cafe Rio seems to me like it's usually the right Mexican place to eat, just as a general rule.

Foood. So many options! Just pick the nearest place and grab something there, Dawn. XD Also, I notice Pirate Pizza Place wasn't among the names suggested. I guess it's still preparing to open, then, huh? Or else they simply haven't become aware of its existence yet. Or maybe it's kinda distant compared to the other places, or maybe they didn't happen to think of it when picking out random names from the apparent plethora of pizza places.

I just got back from Kneaders myself. I got one of those Bacon Turkey avocado deali-o's. A little pricey, but worth it.

We had Chinese takeout ourselves today. Those cream cheese wontons and coconut shrimp are soooo GOOD.

Whichever direction would be the shortest distance. Or if they're equidistant, just do eenie-meenie-minie-moe. Very Happy

....Oooor just raid the pantry and eat random things like peanut butter, assuming there's something edible in there (or in the fridge).

Or just turn to the pizza section of the Yellow Pages, close your eyes and point and just have a pizza delivered. Of course, they'd still have to decide on toppings...

True, but everything built out instead of up like other cities I've seen. This whole place is like someone took a city and the suburbs, mashing them together like play-doh then rolled the mass flat across the valley.

Sadly, Pirate Pizza Place is not open yet. (And in real life, Pirate Island Pizza is closed down. T-T ) However, all the restaurants listed are ones that are within close by. Except Cravings-it's in Pleasant Grove. So worth the drive, though!

My personal favorites from each category:

Mexican: It's a tie between Milagros and Maria Bonita (not listed in the comic. Yeah, there's even more restaurants around that aren't listed in the comic. *laugh* )
Asian: Rice Wok! They make excellent noodles Smile
Pizza: Wiseguyz ~ A gangster-themed pizza place which shares a building with Dragon's Keep, a comic/game store ^^
Dessert: Cravings <3 They competed on Cupcake Wars, and rightfully so-their food's delicious!

This next week will feature FE world questions, and then the Fan Comic will begin while I'm moving Smile If there's questions you've had about the world, it's a great chance to ask about them~

Today's filler page follows with the single-panel theme of the last arc, but getting back into the swing of doing backgrounds.

I think there's a reason that particular book is "On Sale".  :-)  Although to make it a serious book just add a subtitle: ":And Get Something Out of It!"  MUCH more funny as-is though.  ;-)

I still think Vicki's the prettiest girl in FEland! (so far. ;-))  Nice expressions, and I really like her corset outfits in general.

EDIT: ...I was on the wrong page of comments, so I missed, like, the last three when posting this. Epic fail. ^^;

*gigglesnort* Is there actually a book just titled "How to Read" in existence? Ten seconds of Googling turned up "How to Read a Book"... Laughing

http://www.amazon.com/Come-Shore-Will-Kill-Eat/dp/B005FOF19Q

Amazon.com wrote:An extraordinary love story between a Maori man and an American woman, that inspires a graceful, revelatory search for understanding about the centuries-old collision of two wildly different cultures.
Come on Shore and We Will Kill and Eat You All is the story of the cultural collision between Westerners and the Maoris of New Zealand, told partly as a history of the complex and bloody period of contact between Europeans and the Maoris in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries, and partly as the story of Christina Thompson’s marriage to a Maori man. As an American graduate student studying literature in Australia, Thompson traveled on vacation to New Zealand, where she met a Maori known as “Seven.” Their relationship was one of opposites: he was a tradesman, she an intellectual; he came from a background of rural poverty, she from one of middle-class privilege; he was a “native,” she descended directly from “colonizers.” Nevertheless, they shared a similar sense of adventure and a willingness to depart from the customs of their families and forge a life together on their own.
In this extraordinary book, which grows out of decades of research, Thompson explores the meaning of cross-cultural contact and the fascinating history of Europeans in the South Pacific, beginning with Abel Tasman’s discovery of New Zealand in 1642 and James Cook’s famous circumnavigations of 1769–79. Transporting us back and forth in time and around the world, from Australia to Hawaii to tribal NewZealand and finally to a house in New England that has ghosts of its own, Come on Shore and We Will Kill and Eat You All brings to life a lush variety of characters and settings. Yet at its core, it is the story of two
people who, in making a life and a family together, bridge the gap between two worlds.
Oh, now the title makes more sense... Kinda?
