Re: Brian's Day
I'm always terrible at theorizing about webcomic plots...
... but, that doesn't stop me! MUAHAhahahahaaaaa! ;-)
Y'know; I am particularly fond of panels 1, 2, and 5 this time.

I know we're not really supposed to be able to tell much from a sketch like this, but...
Imma go out on a limb and say his expression tells me Brian's looking at the gas guage right now.
Cute Kitty - I just had a horrible thought. What if -Diana- was driving on ..."That (hypothetical) Day"...?

An interesting thought. I think if that were the case, though, Diana would be the one without the car and with the trepidation Brian is displaying in this latest page.
Speaking of said page: oh deer. Poor Brian.
C'mon, buddy. Gotta get back on the horse...

Re: Brian's Day
Do we actually know that the car -is- Diana's? And not a second 'family' car that they share? I can't remember if the car's ownership has ever been mentioned. And didn't Brian move out into his own apartment a while back?Cutekitty wrote:An interesting thought. I think if that were the case, though, Diana would be the one without the car...

Brian has not yet moved out of his family's house, nor was he listed on the car's insurance when they first got it. Hopefully this info helps

Oh, Dianna looks SO pitiful and soulful in panel 2, and 3.
That last panel had to be a difficult one to draw! Nice work, Ellen-Natalie.

Re: Brian's Day
While I have been rather busy from being here on the forums, I have managed to read along! Seems really serious, and that something important might be revealed soon. From my guess Brian may have been involved in some sort of accident? (With his shocked expression when Diana said something about it). I remember failing to jaywalk University Parkway and was terrified, who knows what he experienced!
And perhaps it took her so long because of the new b-r-t system being installed here? Has caused some bad traffic by the mall and areas around it. Who knows! :-p

Exactly. It's not there.

Road. It's on the road now.

20:41:09Panic attacks? I don't remember seeing signs of it before. But then, he did just say he hasn't frozen up in a long time.
Reckin Brian really does like Dawn if he managed to avoid a panic attack and ask her out anyway! :-)

Good call. She shouldn't be driving right now.
Poor Brian. He just can't catch a break. But also, poor Diana. She's bitten off more than she could chew, and she really shouldn't have gone to school today... It's unfortunate that Brian didn't know how sleep-deprived she was and pressured her to go. :/

Yeah! I'm just glad she is responsible enough to pull over and let Brian drive.

Brians' driving
It seems to me that we have not seen Brian driving the family car since the great "date with Dawn" debacle other that the "sofa" episode. I think he has problems with driving, he is always shown on his bike.

Perhaps he is the ‘bad luck brian’ when it comes to cars?THE COLONEL wrote:It seems to me that we have not seen Brian driving the family car since the great "date with Dawn" debacle other that the "sofa" episode. I think he has problems with driving, he is always shown on his bike.
(Kudos to anyone who remembers that old meme)
