Hunter knows how to look classy, if nothing else.

You know, after the initial awkwardness I do wonder if Kat will actually open up more through texting. I know several people who can write and exchange mail, email, text etc much more comfortably than talking all the time. It may actually turn out to be a good thing as long as they avoid pitfalls that can happen when friends/potential dates text.

Guessing that she broke the glass on the phone. It'd be interesting to see her explaining how that happened to her parents.

Since her hackles are raised, as well as the rest of her fur, I wonder if she's scared, or angry, or both.

I strongly doubt she's angry. "Scared" is closer to the mark. I would say she's startled except more intense than startled... Shocked? Yes! That's the word!

Texting just got -way- more expensive, Hunter!

Coming up next: either Cat blocks him, or asks the others how to block a user. And maybe she gets a new phone.

Nah, just easily flustered, as we've seen since the "Cursing" arc at least. Also embarrassed that she broke her phone.

Hunter is probably starting to feel awkward about her not replying, followed by the string of "I'm sorry, did I offend you?" Texts when you're worried you ticked someone off, when in fact Kat is just unsure how to respond.

I've known people who go for months or more using a cracked phone screen. Never had one myself, amazingly.
