Luke is entertaining to look at all through this one; especially when I thought of, "It's a date!'
for his reply at the end.

I really would like to say how much the art in this comic has improved over the last few arcs.
Hunter looks so great here.

Why, Mom? D:
I wonder what her reason for protest is. Does she believe he hasn't saved up enough or doesn't make enough to pay rent? Does she have a bunch of chores she wants him to do? Does she want him to stay home and study?

But... I.... He's at least 19. At least. I don't know what kind of ability his mother would have to stop him form looking for a place to get out of her house...

Re: Hunter's Hunt part 2
Given past comics, I would say hunter's mom has some temporary reason for stopping him. It's likely a former engagement such as unfinished chores or being/expecting visitors.

Re: Hunter's Hunt part 2
When hunter is talking to the job recruiter in the first part, he says that he served for 2 years on a mission in Texas. He also says that he left when he was 19. It seems that he's been doing the modeling for a while, so I'm estimating he's somewhere between 21 and 23.
My guess About his mother needing something done is that he has to do something with/for his little brother.
I also love how even though you can't see mom's expression, you can see how peeved she is by her stance, and layed back ears!

Technically she doesn't but when you've lived at home for a while, parents tend to think they still have full authority over their children. My parents were this way.

Wasn't Hunters' mother trying to get him out of the house. In the first place by encouraging him to get a job to afford his own. And if he wanted to move out, why did he ask his mom first?

Maybe now that it's imminent, she's changed her mind.

"What the collar means"
That. Was. Beautiful.
I'm getting to really like this character.

The collar does bring up a lot of controversy. Collars can mean so many different things from anyones precipitation.
That is enlightenment right there.

Ooh! Context!
Also reinforces my suspicion that Fleur feels makeup is an important part of being presentable. Other than that, I'm still not sure what to make of her personality yet, though I must admit to chuckling at the filler.

So...what do the furries think when this strange, pink creature with no fur except on the head appears and starts asking random questions?
Seriously though, I like how she took the question and turned it against everyone else. Look forward to seeing her in the strip proper.

I actually wondered about that myself. What ARE their opinions on humans?

I didn't think Humans existed in the FE universe. Did I misremember something? Or, are y'all just kidding about Ellen-Natalie in the filler?
Re: Hunter's Hunt part 2
Regarding humans, I would like to point you to Filler Page 24, "Pokemen".

Re: Hunter's Hunt part 2
If Hunter has enough money to spare, he should rent a storage unit and drop the couch off there. That way, once he has an apartment, he'll have at least one piece of furniture to use (that is, if it's an unfurnished apartment)! Then he can thank his mom for the couch later, when he actually moves out
