Re: Brian's Day
I know it's not her; but, that middle character makes me see Ronnie, pulling her ears out in frustration.
Welcome back, Ellen-Natalie! I understand you've had some tie-ups lately; but I check in regularly, both to check on you, and just in case there's a new comment to which I "need" to respond. :-) Good to see you back!

Finally, a new page!
Thanks for your kind words, Ed. It took longer than expected, but the page has been finished and posted:
Re: Brian's Day
@J.A.M. - LOL! :-)
I really like the coloring on that fox(?) on the right in panels 4 and 5! More cameos? You really make those look good, Ms. Ellen-Natalie!
"Go Bri-an! Go Bri-an! A-T-T-I-T-U-D-E-!!!"

Hmm. The cheek stripes for the guy in Panel 2 makes me think Red Panda... Could be wrong about that, though!

Hmm.. Good point, CuteKitty. I was thinking 'cat' just from the ears. Maybe some kind of hybrid?

That's right! The Red Panda was another cameo request
Brian waiting for the next FE page...

That would be awesome! Or, is FE sometimes in the comics section of the newspaper within the FE world? Either way... FE-ception

Re: Brian's Day
Oh; nice thought, CKitty!
Let's see now; Kat is the artist, but can she write? Who would we pair her up with to draw and write the FE-World version of FE? Hunter? Dawn? Dawn & Ronnie??

The first time I read this, I thought of an actual snail making the delivery...

Eheheh... with the route she took today, apparently so. Who knows how many evasive maneuvers and unnecessary circles were in it.
On an unrelated note: are the stricken faces in that last panel just a reaction to Diana's outburst, or is there more to it than that? I have a hypothesis...

Re: Brian's Day
I think they suddenly realized they were -both- in the wrong on that one, CuteKitty.
I also think Diana has something else bothering her to make her more snappish than usual.

Re: Brian's Day
Okay; I don't know how to post a copy of today's strip here. Hopefully Ellen-Natalie can slip it in ahead of this post... :-)
I still think something else is bothering Diana. She's hoping for a hug from that look back.

I think you're right about that, Mr. Ed.
The hypothesis I mentioned was about their dad. He appears absent. I wonder if he died in a car crash, and if Diana's outburst and the stricken expressions carried that extra layer of significance. I could be wrong, though. It's a grim suspicion, this hypothesis of mine, and I've little to substantiate it.

Re: Brian's Day
CuteKitty... Your hypothesis makes a -lot- of sense under the circumstances. It might also explain the long route home if the direct route went past -where- the father died.

Sorry, I'm not able to - but I can post it here!

Interesting theory! I won't confirm or deny anything, but ever wonder why Diana has a car and Brian doesn't?

I sure as heck am wondering now!
Thanks for that. I'm having theory bunnies. Maybe Brian was involved in the accident that killed the dad (perhaps he was driving and the dad was in the passenger seat), or maybe Brian got in an accident at some point that didn't involve the dad, who is absent for some other reason. Perhaps the accident involved texting and driving. Who knows? Not me. Guess I'll just have to wait and see. =D
