Re: Alice's Antipathy
Does anyone else see the skull?
heh, heh, I wonder if that's just part of her character, or subtle foreshadowing?
duh, duh, duuuunnnn! the plot doth thicken!
Love seeing the rough sketches, and the great expressions!

Re: Alice's Antipathy
Note to all girls looking for a (specific) guy: just come out and say you're interested in him. By the time you drop enough hints for him to maybe start suspecting something, some other girl is going to be up-front about it and snag him first. Be that up-front girl. It just works better for everyone involved.
Note to all guys looking for a (specific) girl: gender-swap my previous statement.
Note to all people looking for a (specific) person of your gender: Read the previous two statements and figure it out from there.
Note to all people not looking for a significant other: go be awesome. The world needs more awesome people.

Re: Alice's Antipathy
If any girl gave me "hints", I didn't find out about it until several years later.
By then, the girl had moved on to another guy.

Unfortunately, much of society teaches girls that it's wrong to be so open with men. Men have traditionally been the ones to pursue a relationship while the girl is supposed to play the coy, virtuous maiden.

Aww... Most of Alice's dress is going to get hidden, and it looks like it would look positively epic.
Heck, I think she'll look positively epic anyways.

I sympathize. I'm still kicking myself for not picking up on a girl who threw a very blatant hint out that went right over my head.
Girls, please keep in mind we're guys, which means we're stupid.

And what was the hint?
As for me...

Re: Alice's Antipathy
Looks like Diana just pulled the rug out from under Louis and doesn't even realize it.

Re: Alice's Antipathy
Say what you want, Diana is pretty selfish and manipulative and gives little thought on what Louis wants to do.

Re: Alice's Antipathy
Put all three of them in a room together! Louis and Alice can rehearse while Diana turns them into clothes horses! What could possibly go wrong?

I'm disliking the attitude from both girls. They are both being equally selfish, immature and, pardon the furry slur, catty. The only reason I empathize with either is because they are imperfect and everyone makes mistakes like that.

I almost agree, although I don't think Alice is trying to act maliciously. I think she really does see herself as the victim. Not saying she is right and that her reactions to it are correct, but she does seem like she could potentially be a likable character with a little development.
