It's okay, Robertma - she's adorable as she is! And she's not the first character to appear with hands instead of hooves: http://furryexperience.smackjeeves.com/comics/981041/filler-page-12/

lol I linked that same page when I replied
I'm glad you like her <3 even though she has a bad case of "main character hair" ^^;
They have hands because they're not cannon to the comic though, just guest appearances
But if it's fine that she has normal hands that's fine with me lol
Keep up the great work on this comic.

Quite right! That deer is Calista, an original character owned by patron Ryou who pledged enough to have her exist in the FE universe.
For those who haven't yet heard FE has a Patreon campaign, more details about it and its' rewards can be found at this link: http://www.patreon.com/ellennatalie

But that does lead to some good questions. How would characters be handled with universe defining characteristics? Hybrid characters of a different species come to mind.
A few example (very sfw of course):
http://www.furaffinity.net/full/9523254/ (tiger + wolf)
http://www.furaffinity.net/full/7647532/ (cat + rabbit + raccoon?)

That'd open up an big can of worms! If it is possible for hybrids to exist, why have none appeared so far (as I can remember)? Wouldn't that cause huge dilemmas with cross-species relationships? If they do have children, are the children born as just one species or the other? If so, then where did this hybrid come from? Is it just a super rare chance? Or maybe they are always born as hybrids, but that's culturally frowned upon, so there is only a very few around?

From the Random Questions thread we learn that when two different species have a kid, one species will become genetically dominant while the other goes recessive. How this is determined on a cellular level isn't discussed so we don't know if one specific species will always over-ride another specific (i.e. otter + iguana = all otter kids) or if it is random (i.e. otter + iguana = 50% of either species kids). However, since it is determined on a genetic level, it would not be out of the question (though relatively rare) for traits to occasionally both show. On the same level, Ms. Natalie has stated that digitigrade legs do happen, but are incredibly rare.

Culturally, cross species relationships are not traditional, but have seen a significant rise in the past few decades.

"What?"

It seems Luke isn't above such youthful indiscretions here.

So now we have Fleur wearing the infamous collar, but what's that medallion?

"We'll never see her again." Mhm. Sure.

Hunter's getting into such irresponsible shenanigans. It actually surprised me a bit that he would do this. ...Then again, it was Luke's idea to leave the couch there in the first place... I guess they both surprised me. In a very amusing and interesting way. xD

Love Fleur's expressions in the first and last panels; especially the last!  I like LaTrans' idea about spotting the neighbor's truck.  Aaannd wouldn't it be funny if The Girls happened to be at the yard sale!
