That was a very nice "bringing it full circle" for the comic, there.

Not quite because in the early comic, Vikki said she got all the classes she wanted for the semester. Maybe after she signed up for the fitness class, they let her go ahead and sign up for the beginner's dance?

I know this is off-topic but I was looking through some of the older FE comics and came across this page and realized I just now got the joke http://furryexperience.smackjeeves.com/comics/727815/filler-page-3/ Cat-called and hooted at and the ones doing the cat-calling and hooting are a cat and an owl.

So, is that jumping ahead a bit? I'm a little confused. I like the joke, but the timeline's got me wondering.

And when did she meet Ronnie?

Brief Update on Progress

Post  Ellen-Natalie on Thu Jan 15, 2015 10:16 am

0 pages to color Very Happy
0 pages to add text Laughing

27 pages needing final edits pale

Final edits are mistakes that weren't caught when the pages were initially made - spelling errors, colors missing, stray lines, etc. Once final edits are completed, I'll order a proof copy to make sure all the images are printing correctly, and one last check for any mistakes missed during final edits. (Making them final, final edits?) Once that's been confirmed, it'll be time to order stock!

Thanks and FAQs

Post  Ellen-Natalie on Sun Mar 01, 2015 8:51 am

Thanks, Latrans!

Well, with only three copies left of the first print run, I think it's safe to say this book was well received! Thanks to all of you for your patience, support, and feedback while I worked on this - once again, FE readers have proven they're awesome! Very Happy

To answer the most popular questions I've gotten this week:

Will there be another print run of FE volume 1?
Yes, definitely! I have a couple conventions I'm planning to attend, (fingers crossed - my first planned convention for this year kinda fell through) and future print runs will be scheduled around them.

Will volume 1 be translated into other languages?
I'm afraid not. While I appreciate readers who take the time to translate FE for themselves, there's just not a large enough demand in those markets for me to justify the cost of hiring a translator, re-formatting all the dialogue, and ordering a new print run for every requested language.

Will there be a volume 2?
Yes, definitely! I've already started mapping the book out. However, the archive pages for the second volume will present different challenges than those of volume 1. While volume 1's comics were all originally too small for print, the majority of volume 2's are way, way too big - with longer story arcs AND pages! (Like this, for example) There's still a lot of options I'm exploring to solve this problem, but most likely volume 2 will be more expensive to print.

Will you finish Ice Queen?
Yes, definitely! That's this year's project. Vol. 2 will be 2016's project - I think I sufficiently proved last year trying to do two books at once on top of everything else does not work.

If there's other questions you have, let me know - again, thanks for all your support! (And the patience. Seriously.)
