Hahaha winning
Cool idea of showing what they're watching . Mizu, tsuchi, hi, kaze. BTW, I wonder what time it is now, they've been watching for a very long time, but then again they started at 3am
Re: FE Page 130
Cat started at three. Ronnie Somewhere between five and six. Dawn joined after they'd been watching for a while together and watched enough to lose track of time "episodes later"
Soo.... It is now at least 11am. Anime has been on for no less than 8 hours.... Ronnie and dawn are hopped up on sugar and the networks will soon switch to sports. All you anime fans out there know what this means...
TIME TO BREAK OUT THE DVD's!!!

How is this the first time I have ever seen Captain Planet and Avatar combined? You'd think that joke would have been bled dry by now

Yeah, It's quite ingenious of her. Never watched Avatar myself... I think you need exposure to both for the joke to pop in your head.Icalasari wrote:How is this the first time I have ever seen Captain Planet and Avatar combined? You'd think that joke would have been bled dry by now

Not in Tokyo any more...
It seems the Anime bloc has ended: Captain Avatar is clearly a mash-up of Captain Planet with Avatar the Last Airbender. However, neither of those two cartoon series could be called anime (except in Japan, where it refers to anything animated, regardless of origin).
Captain Planet was produced by DiC Entertainment and Hanna-Barbera studios (now Cartoon Network), and distributed by Turner Broadcasting. Although much of the actual work was outsourced to Pacific Rim studios, the nuts and bolts of the show were entirely American. Avatar the Last Airbender similarly was produced by Nickelodeon Studios, with most inbetweening outsourced.
