By the way, as January wraps up-how do people like this new monthly thread system for posting pages? Would you like to keep it going or switch back to one page per thread?

First, to answer the question.
I like that it's keeping all the conversation on related subjects together, but I also see it could break up that as well. Month ends don't always come with story arc changes. Maybe change the format a bit to "Thread-per-arc"? Possibly creating a new thread for detours that occur in the middle for whatever reason. Anyways, that's my two cents.

Now the comic itself.
I believe I shall die with a smile now. And diabetes. Laughing I find it truly amazing how Brian's grown as a character since his introduction. If I recall correctly, Ms. Natalie had stated once that he was written in as a one-off joke and/or minor recurring background character to pester our dear doe. It says a lot for the writing that such things can and do happen.

Well, I guess that works.....

The arc and the month seem to be over, so perhaps a new thread is okay.

There's actually a few more pages as the arc winds down (got to see how the roommates react, right?) but if everyone wants to try an arc-per-thread, I can post them here until the next arc starts. Smile

I think a thread for every arc would be the way to go.

And I could actually see rain as a pretty romantic thing. When I was smaller I used to love just listening to the rain, especially on the roof of a car when it wasn't on. That same calming effect + soul mate standing next to you = moment you would never forget.

As others have said, a thread for every arc is probably the best option. That keeps conversation on a single storyline/arc all together, whereas a month could have awkward breaks in the arc or multiple arcs oddly contained in the same thread.

Also, this latest page is a sugary adorableness overload. I love it.

Aww.. Won't matter if it's freezing rain; Brian, at least, will never notice. Doesn't look much like Dawn would either. :-)

I love rain on a tin roof. When I had my Jeep CJ I realized that rain on a canvas roof is even better! (Wasn't old enough to care yet when I was in the Boy Scouts. ;-))

I also agree with the others about one arc = one thread. The only caveat would be if there's an extra long arc you might split it into two threads. This thread/arc length is fine in one piece though. This was a good idea you had, Ellen-Natalie!

I guess it's settled-the arc will finished on this thread, and then we'll try a thread per arc. ^^

Mm... I like tea. I've taken to drinking it a bit more often after I started college, although I still largely drink milk.

On another note, it appears that her roommates may get to see Brian's caring side and gain some new insight into why Dawn likes that buck so much. Smile

Man, what a sweet guy, I hope that'll be clear to Cat and Ronnie soon.
Also, I don't know if this is the right thread to comment on this, but it seems applicable. I like the whiteboard navigation bars on the website, they're a very nice touch.

Aw, how sweet. Now to see if Brian stays true to form and has yet another mishap or if he actually manages to stay accident-free for once. And hehe, protein noodle soup... I wonder, do they have some sort of manufactured substitute for meat? Possibly something akin to tofu, boca burger, chick'n, etc.?
