Flood Detour: Tesseri-Shira's Request 4908a4958OKTv

Everyone's been really kind and patient while we've been drying out our place an apartment shopping-I really appreciate it. You guys are always proving this webcomic has the best fans! ^^

A brief update on things-we finally have dry carpet, and nothing smells like mold! Everything in the book room touching the floor has been wrapped in plastic, and though our landlord is pretty sure she's fixed the pipe problem, she's agreed not to turn the water softener back on until after finals are over.

I'll probably upload another Flood Detour this week, but the comic should be back on track this Friday. ^^

Ooh; nice coloring! Especially for quick & simple! I particularly like Vikki's hair and tail,
and the blouse of the girl on the far left.

I've taken to mostly using colored pencils myself because I find them more intuitive for me than Photoshop.
Can you recommend a good beginner(?) book that doesn't gloss over 'obvious' steps?
