FE Page 225
Regular updates have resumed on the website-hope everyone enjoyed the FE Fan Comic Event! The Fan comics have been removed from the archives, but keep your eyes open for the free Side Story featuring them, which will be uploaded later this week!
I can sympathize
If I had to work with Psycho Mouse, I would DEFINITELY dread going to work each day for fear that she might decide she wanted an extra break. I can't blame Hunter for turning that job down.

Why doesn't Hunter just keep what he's doing, just go on a more professional scale? Instead of just working for the school, he could freelance. (or would that just make things worse?)

I have to agree--even though all he's doing is modeling for art classes, I can see why his mom is so concerned, and why Cat is feeling such epic discomfort when she gets to talk to Hunter 1 on 1.

I agree 100%. I'd just add that, in Cat's case, the discomfort is doubled by the fact that she is very shy and not at all comfortable about meeting new people even under easy circumstances.Teric wrote:I have to agree--even though all he's doing is modeling for art classes, I can see why his mom is so concerned, and why Cat is feeling such epic discomfort when she gets to talk to Hunter 1 on 1.

Giving credit where it's due, Luke and Hunter are beginning to realize that life is full of compromises. Hunter may like his modeling gig, but it isn't ever going to pay enough to let him live on his own, and he doesn't want to be a "mushroom," either. There are better paying jobs available, but the work will be less enjoyable, even downright difficult. However, very few people ever get their ideal; instead, most people wrangle something workable from the free market, and make do with that. To Hunter and Luke: seriously, take what's available and suffer through the drudgery. Better paying and less icky jobs are available, but personnel managers are looking for applicants that don't bail when the days get hectic or ugly. The work history you build now will decide whether you move forward or get held back.
