Another LDSAnthro in the Community
Almost too good to be true,
For a while now, I was debating whether it was possible or not for someone who is LDS to be able to enjoy anthropomorphism without the prevalent association with it. Thank you for being a small, yet pleasant nook of this community.
Not too much about myself: I'm currently going to school at byu-i up here in Rexburg, trying to get a bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. Aside from that, I am a casual gamer and somewhat of a bookworm. I have been interested in the Anthro scene for a while now, but was too worried about what others would think. Sometimes thoughts like "Would I be able to be a bishop like this?" or "Does this conflict with anything I know about?". I am still not entirely sure, but I am very glad to know of a place where I can express myself without those worries.
Thanks,
John (aka GldnClaw)

Welcome to the group Gldn! We're always happy to see new faces out and about. Feel free to make yourself at home and post like crazy.
As for religious furs, I think you'll find that there's nothing in any Christian work (LDS or otherwise) that says 'thou shalt not enjoy anthropomorphic animals.'

Welcome, fellow saint.
Nothing I can find in scriptures or word of apostle commands us to not be furry, so we are totally legit.
Welcome to the forums, have fun, and stay for a while.

Re: Another LDSAnthro in the Community
Better late than never: hello and welcome, John.
You'd asked once on another thread how often people sign up on this forum. This forum has been in existence for almost 300 days, with 48 confirmed members; that averages to about one sign-up every six days. Of course, being a population collective, there have been periods with a relative flurry of sign-ups, and lengthy periods without a sign-up.
About one-fourth of all enrollments make no posts; in forum parlance, these are "lurkers." Roughly another fourth make only one or two posts. Less than half of all members make a significant presence on this board, which is typical in these cases.

Uh-oh. This sounds a little like Scott Adams' future-Dilbert almost meeting future-Pointy Haired Boss in college. Lightning can't strike twice ... can it?

LDS Anthros YAY!
This is awesome! I was dying to see if I could find out if there were any LDS anthros. I knew they had to be... but yeah. I'm LDS and an anthro. Two of my sisters go to BYU-I. I still don't know where I'm going.
Any who very happy to hear there's some LDS furs up there!
