Hmm. Not far removed from the way Hobbes pounces on Calvin in Bill Watterson's strips. Also seeing echoes of Molly Cunningham imitating Danger Woman from Disney's Talespin series. Charming device for character development.
The robe? Easily explained: Hunter takes a mandatory gym class, with showers afterward. A robe is much more preferable to padding around a locker room naked.

Who says he has to feel guilty about it? Having been a model for as long as he has, his brother already knows, is already misdirected, or he's at least come up with something to say if the topic came up.
Personally, I'd be straight-up honest with the kid. Kids are a lot smarter than most people give them credit for, and if they feel (or are told) a subject is taboo, they'll avoid asking you (or whatever authority figure) about it, instead finding other sources. I, for one, would rather have my kids ask me where I can control the situation and direct the conversation for the best possible outcome.
This is, of course, assuming things like the rest of the family already knowing, or if they don't, not being worried about them finding out.
