As for this detour: I was scrambling for an idea, when I overheard someone loudly calling herself a fat hippo for eating a whole burrito. This image followed.

that she and Cat weren't friends anymore, ever since the illegal immigration essay.

Courtney seems the type to completely forget that those types of incidents happen and Cat seems the type to have her "designated friend" back to avoid finding someone else.
