How to doorbell Ditch.

Step 1: find a house that is occupied.
Step 2: Ring doorbell.
Step 3: RUN to the nearest bush/object providing defilade before the door is answered.
Step 4: Giggle.
Step 5: repeat until homeowner is aggravated.
Step 6: Repeat with different houses on different blocks, occasionally returning to one that you've already visited.

Warning: DO NOT DAMAGE PROPERTY during this, you can be legally shot for it in many states.
Warning 2: This game is not advisable in Vermont, Texas, Utah, or any place else a gun nut would live.
Protip: Avoid houses of known marksman/people with pets...

I don't know about avoiding ones with pets. The houses with small, hyperactive dogs are some of the best. The person doesn't even have to answer the door and they get an earful of 'YAP-YAP-YAP-YAP-YAP-YAP-YAP-YAP-YAP-YAP-YAP-YAP-YAP-YAP-YAP-YAP-YAP-YAP-YAP-YAP-YAP-YAP-YAP-YAP-YAP-YAP-YAP-YAP!!!!!'
