Favorite Auction Site?
School bills were a bit more than expected this semester, and I'd like to auction some original FE art to make up the difference. I'm researching different bidding sites, but have little idea which ones are most popular or have unexpected twists to their operations. What are your preferences when it comes to bidding online? Did you have a great auctioning experience or horror story from a particular site? Any general advice you'd like to offer? Share it here-all feedback is welcome!

I'm afraid I'm with Mr. Fox on this one. Ebay is the only one I know off the top of my head, but I only use it to buy things since the seller fees are a bit daunting (last I checked anyways).

Yeah, it's amazing all the fees they have-listing fee, sales percentage, and that's before Paypal charges you a fee as well. Do either of you guys have any experience with Furbuy? It's looking like the best option so far, fee and traffic-wise.
Re: Favorite Auction Site?
I'm afraid I don't as I've never had an occasion. Nothing against the site, just that when I do buy stuff through auctions, it's things like hard-to-find motorcycle parts or cheep Chinese electronics.
Are there any specific pieces you're looking at putting up? I could do another archive binge and throw some suggestions your way if you'd like, though I can't promise any purchases (I've got $60 in my bank account right now to last me the next two weeks for food and gas).

Umm, I'm a little hesitant to say but there's one I've seen called : Rabbit valley anthropomorphics.

Also you could always do like 5-10$ commisions.

I do offer $5 digital line art commissions, and appreciate those who've ordered them in the past. ^^ However, I'd also like to give auctioning a try, too.
And to Latrans, I'm currently looking at auctioning off the couple series I recently posted in FA/DA: "Jane and John," "Louis and Diana," and "Dawn and Brian." They've been given a couple coats of matte spray for protection, and I'm looking into getting them laminated.
Re: Favorite Auction Site?
I knew about your DA account, but never about the FA account. Do you have a link that you could show me?

Re: Favorite Auction Site?
Well, I decided to go with Furbuy for auctioning. Anyone interested in owning original FE art, the auctions can be found at this link: http://www.furbuy.com/seller/Ellen_Natalie.html
Currently for sale are all four of the Couples Series, along with a sample image that was made to test the lamination machine.~

Re: Favorite Auction Site?
Sorry 'bout the double-post, but just letting everyone know there's now less than 24 hours before the auctions end. Anyone interested in last-minute bids should take look at the link posted above~
If you haven't read this already on FA, DA, Facebook or the Main Comic Website
And now we're on three posts *flinches* But I didn't want to start a new thread...
Anyway, the Original Art Auctions are officially closed-thanks to everyone who stopped by to see them. ^^ Both "Dawn and Brian" and "Hunter and Cat" found new homes through them.
I also want to apologize to anyone who got locked out of the auction when I posted the 24 hour notice. Apparently, after you sign up with Furbuy you can't bid on auctions with only 24 hours left for seven days. (This is why Ellen needs to read the 'Terms and Conditions' paragraphs when she signs up for sites. ^^; )
I've already gotten noted by someone who couldn't bid, asking if they could purchase a piece that hadn't been bid on. I was fine with it-and now "Happy Peanut Butter Cat" and "Jane and John" have new homes, as well. If there's anyone who'd like to purchase "Louis and Diana" for $15 via paypal, send me a note! (Image can be found here: http://ellen-natalie.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d4lem4a )
Overall, it was a good experience-again, thanks to everyone who stopped by to see the auctions. I'd like to try it again sometime~
