Filler Page 25
Finally featuring the winners of the fashion contest from last month!
Also, there is nothing in Bargain Ball's 'Most Creative' contest rules that prohibits parental help when assembling your outfit. In fact, when the fad of using blowtorches and powertools to create formal wear came about, parental help was strongly encouraged.
EDIT: Seem to be having trouble with the image...I'll try uploading a smaller version.

I got lucky and won a contest (along with Ms. Kame-Kami and Ms. Tesseri-Shira). Keep an eye out in the future as I know she's included other peoples OC's in previous events as well!

A dress made of garbage bags and plastic wrap? Terrible idea: those materials have no airflow. Sweat and condensate will build up on the interior, and become moist dead weight that's a haven for odor-causing bacteria.
An outfit made from playing cards? Well, the armor worn by Disney's title character Mulan was made from iron plates stitched together. However playing cards are made of stiff paper. They'll warp badly when they get wet. And tear easily, too.
I'd award top prize to Latrans entry of chainmail made from wire hangers. Chainmail worked wonderfully in medieval times, and wire hangers are nowadays wrapped in colorful sheathing. Stylish, pliable, colorful, durable ... ingeniously practical.
Oh, and the barbed wire entry? Fine for indoors, though it will ruin the furniture. And don't take that outfit out into the cold: steel contracts when cooled, putting the poor girl in a python grip that'll squeeze the life out of her. Way to win the Darwin Award, pops.

While I agree on the issues with the plastic wrap, I think the card-dress could be easily handled with a suitable backing and/or appropriately selected cards. The rules stated that it had to be outwardly made of common items but could be constructed with other elements underneath. It would have my vote. The chain mail would be impractical for other reasons, top of the list being 'effort involved in construction. If you've never woven steel before, it's a VERY time consuming and tedious process, especially if you're not starting with pre-rolled rings. Oh, and heavy. A full chain-mail suit weighs about 40 pounds (give or take)
Lastly, thermal expansion wouldn't become an issue with the barbed wire dress. The contraction of the steel simply isn't great enough to make constriction an issue. She'd suffer from heat loss via conduction long before breathing issues.
